Apologia Martial Arts

Taekwondo Background

Taekwondo is an ancient Korean martial art founded over two thousand years ago as a form of unarmed combat rooted in the guiding principles of loyalty, trustworthiness, valor and justice.

Modern Taekwondo has fused that rich tradition into a physical system of blocks, kicks, punches, and open-handed strikes while retaining the  philosophical grounding of building character internally.

Students of Taekwondo often find they gain far more than simply learning how to break a board or self-defense.

Taekwondo Tenets
At Apologia Martial Arts,
we add to the tenets of Taekwondo:

Faith in God and discipleship in his word, to enable us to grow fully mature in mind, body, and spirit.

Our tuition is based on monthly classes for the regular season September through May.

Some months are four weeks and some are more or less depending on holidays.
We do not prorate for holidays, or months with less class days, this does occasionally happen as we have a several martial arts and dance convention or tournament trips scheduled each year.
We are careful to do our best in these situations to provide the best value possible all year through.
We also do not discount for students missed days due to illness or family vacations as the monthly tuition holds your child’s place in class.
During scheduled Christmas  holiday time off we do offer 30 minute privates with Ms. Devyn first come first served as an appreciation for to missed classes during our convention trips during November and December.
